FAQ
Answers before you buy. Still have a question? A person replies within [one business day].
Where do you ship from, and how long does US delivery take?
Orders ship from [warehouse location] within [number] business days of payment. US delivery takes [range] business days, and you receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. [Free-shipping threshold, if any.]
What is your returns policy?
You can return any product within 30 days of delivery for a refund. [Condition rules, for example unused and in original packaging.] To start a return, [how]. We refund your original payment method within [number] business days of receiving the item.
What warranty do I get?
Every THE BEAM product has a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and functional defects, starting on the delivery date. It does not cover crash damage, misuse, normal wear or modification. If something fails, contact us with your order number and photos and we will [repair or replace it].
Which Virgo size should I order?
Measure around your head with a soft tape, about 1 cm (half an inch) above your eyebrows, at the widest point. Then choose: S 51 to 54 cm, M 55 to 58 cm, L 59 to 63 cm. Between two sizes, or at the top of a range? Send us your measurement and we will recommend a size before you order. [Size exchange policy, if any.]
What do the Virgo certifications mean?
- NTA 8776 is a Dutch technical standard for helmets used on speed e-bikes, up to 45 km/h. It starts from the bicycle helmet standard EN 1078 and tightens it: higher impact speeds and more of the head covered, especially the temples and the back of the head.
- EN 1078 is the European standard for bicycle helmets.
- CPSC is the US federal standard for bicycle helmets (16 CFR 1203), which every bicycle helmet sold in the US must meet.
- Mips is a low-friction layer inside the helmet, designed to reduce rotational forces in certain angled impacts.
No helmet can protect against every impact, and certification does not remove all risk.
Does FENNEC R200 work with my phone?
No. FENNEC R200 connects over ANT+ and has no Bluetooth or phone app. It shows radar data on cycling computers that support ANT+ bike radar, including Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, Coros, Bryton and iGPSPORT. If you ride without one, the light still sounds its own alert when a vehicle approaches, and it intensifies its flashing pattern to catch the driver's attention.
What is in a See & Be Seen Kit?
Each kit has three parts: a Virgo helmet or a FENNEC R200 radar light (your choice), a CORKY mirror to see behind you, and Wheel Flash reflectors to be seen from the side. Kits start from $208.90. [Add the saving versus buying the items separately, if there is one.]
When will my ARAGO light saddle pre-order ship?
We are taking pre-orders now and expect to ship from [November 2026]. We will email you a confirmed date before it ships. Your card is charged [at order / at shipping]. [Cancellation terms before shipping.]
I had a crash. What should I do?
Stop riding and check yourself first. Get medical help if anything feels wrong. Then replace the helmet: it is designed to absorb an impact, damage can be invisible, and US/EU safety rules tell riders to replace a helmet after any impact. Do not repair it. Contact us with your order number and photos and we will tell you what we can do. [Crash-replacement offer, if you create one.]
